Hi there,

I am
Henrik Nord

A creative force with decades of experience in Game Development, B2B, Arts, Graphics, Programming, Animation, Interactive development and creating stuff in general.
I have a Masters of Art in Art & Design and have taught myself programming as an additional toolbox for creating interesting things. With one foot in the culture sector and one in the business sector I am a Creative Cross Media Director where game development becomes the overlapping element of surprise. I work both digital and in the physical realm, happily bringing these together.

I’m like ChatGPT – only better …

Programming and User Experience is key in what I do. Both as a part of creating Games and other interactive rich media presentations involves Story Telling, writing scripts and realising ideas and concepts. This has been a big part of my creative work. As a side note I am also writing my own books and stories for my own pleasure.

The Digital & the Physical – Crossmedia

Although most of the work I’ve done has been in the digital domain I have found myself working on projects involving cross media productions where the digital material finds its way out into the physical world in different ways, be it projections on houses, installations, scenography for theatres or other more experimental settings. I also do a lot of painting digitally which I then print on canvas and paper to bring out into the physical world.

Teaching, Lectures & Workshops

One thing I do enjoy is interacting with other people and sharing ideas and experiences. One of the best ways of doing this (outside a production) is through workshops, holding lectures or teaching classes. Teaching is something I’ve been fortunate to do once in a while at higher educations (universities, professional schools etc) along with lectures and workshops both at schools and workplaces. Workshopping in a business environment is something that often comes naturally when working out ideas and concepts for a project.
